Position Summary

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for targeting, cultivating, and signing new dealerships, dealer groups, or agency accounts. This is a consultative sales role that requires a deep understanding of dealership operations, particularly in F&I, sales, service, and overall store performance. You will position Prosidium as the trusted partner for innovative warranty, administration and wealth management solutions.

This is a remote position with regional travel expected. You will collaborate closely with our Dealer Success Managers (DSMs), who manage post-sale onboarding and client success.

Pay is a base monthly salary plus commission. Total compensation ranges from $150,000 - $300,000 based on experience. Commission can grow aggressively each year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business by introducing Prosidium to prospective dealerships and agencies

  • Create lasting partnerships as a trusted provider for F&I solutions, wealth-building tools, and operational support

  • Consult with dealer principals, general managers, and key dealer staff to discover challenges, chances, and offer tailored solutions

  • Manage and grow a sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and documentation

  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, value walkthroughs, and presentations

  • Collaborate with DSMs to ensure seamless integration and long-term client success

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, dealership operations, and regional performance benchmarks

  • Represent Prosidium at industry events, tradeshows, and dealer meetings when required

Job requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive dealership operations (F&I, service, or GSM/GM roles strongly preferred)

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in automotive products or services

  • Strong understanding of F&I products, compliance, and dealership profitability strategies

  • Ability to travel regionally as needed (up to 50%)

  • Proficiency in HubSpot (or comparable CRM), Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and virtual communication tools

  • Exceptional professionalism, communication, and relationship-building skills

Preferred:

  • Experience working with or for a third-party administrator (TPA), warranty provider, or reinsurance firm

  • Familiarity with dealer wealth management and reinsurance structures

  • Experience working with agencies that serve dealer groups
